Find Your Author House
Every indie author runs on one of four creative wirings. Most of us were never told which one is ours — and that's why generic publishing advice keeps breaking us. Take the diagnostic. Discover which House you belong to. Stop running on someone else's blueprint.
Why this matters.
Indie authors don't burn out because writing is hard. We burn out because we're running careers on systems built for someone else's brain.
You've probably tried the productivity hacks. The marketing courses. The 20Booksto50K templates. Some of it worked for a while. Then it stopped. Then you started wondering if maybe you weren't cut out for this.
You are cut out for this.
You're just running on the wrong blueprint.
The four Houses — LoreKeeper, Mythmaker, Heartweaver, Wildscribe — name the four ways indie authors are actually wired to work. Once you know which House is yours, the right systems become obvious, and the wrong systems stop feeling like personal failure.
This diagnostic takes about three minutes. There are no right or wrong answers — only honest ones.
And pay attention to see if you’re a hybrid like me and many, many others.
After you find your House
You'll get your archetype result, a description of your wiring, and a guide that goes deeper into how your House actually works — what fuels it, what derails it, and what systems are built to match it.
Some authors take The Sorting and immediately recognize themselves. Others sit with it for a few days. Both are normal. The recognition is what matters — the rest follows.
If you want to talk through your result with me directly: Book a free Diagnostic Call. I'll read your result with you, name what's actually broken in your current setup, and tell you what to fix first.
Common questions before you start.
"What if I'm between two Houses?" You probably are. Most authors are hybrids — one dominant House and one secondary that fires alongside it. The diagnostic identifies your primary wiring first. Hybrid recognition comes later, in the deeper work.
"What if I don't like my result?" The result names how you're wired, not who you have to be. Sometimes the recognition is uncomfortable because it points at exactly the thing you've been resisting. Sit with it. That discomfort is often the door.
"What if I'm a hybrid that doesn't fit the four?" Every author I've ever met fits one of the four wirings, or some combination. There's no fifth House. If you're struggling to place yourself, you might be a stronger hybrid than usual — which is information, not a problem.
"Will this give me a writing plan?" The diagnostic gives you your House. The plan comes from the next step — whether that's a Diagnostic Call with me, the Archetype Guide for your House, or working together in an Intensive. The diagnostic is the start of finding your alignment, not the end.
Ready?
You've been running on someone else's blueprint for long enough.
