Book Doctor

Have No Fear.

The Book Doctor Is In.

Need help making your book make sense?

Is your plot not working? Does it feel like the pacing is too slow?

Need to figure out where to add more sizzle on your limpy (instead of steamy) pages?

Or are you just not selling and you just can't figure out why?

Are you getting reviews that say your writing is flat?

Call the Book Doctor! I can help!

Have you written a romance that's lacking in spark? Trying to get the heat back in, but don't necessarily know where to start or how to shift the plot around to fit it in?

I can help with that.

Have you found a niche that should sell, but you're just not selling? Do you need someone to take a look at what you're offering and give advise on what will sell?

I can help with that.

Are you struggling to get reviews? Or do your reviewers say things like, 2 Stars: "This wasn't what I expected..." or "It just felt flat..." or something similar?

I can help with that.

There are lots of things that can go wrong in a book.

  • You can start out with one idea and then have a life-changing effect that completely shifts your focus.
  • You can start a book and then figure out that you just can't write it or don't like, but still want to save it.
  • You can start off as a pantser trying to be a plotter and then have it all fall apart.
  • You can pay for what should have been a fantastic cover, but it's not getting you the clicks you need

And those are just a couple of the books that came across my desk this week. The thing you have to remember is that you're not a horrible writer if you come across stuff like this. It really does happen.

You're Not a Failure

The first thing you need to understand is that you're not a failure. Failing is when you refuse to get back up.

I Failed a Lot

I've done just about everything wrong in publishing a book. That's how I know how to help you. I've been there, done that, and have a wardrobe of t-shirts.
